Martin's love of film music began during his time at school. His talents as a composer were spotted early on when he was selected as one of 6 finalists in a national search to find the next generation of film composers. As part of the competition, he was invited to a recording session at the world-famous Abbey Road recording studios in London, a place he would later return for his own projects.

After leaving University, Martin began working in collaboration with the Indian composer M. Ghibran. He has provided orchestrations and additional background scores for a number of his films which have been nominated for numerous international awards including: 2 L.A. Independant Film Festival Awards, 2 Vijay Music awards and 2 Prestige Music Awards.

In 2014 Martin co-founded Movie Music London with the composer/orchestrator Jack Blume. Specialising in music for T.V., Film and Theatre, Movie Music London has recently composed the title music and beds for the 2017 BBC show 'Pitch Battle', and have a number of film projects lined up for the coming year. Martin and Jack's combined knowledge of orchestral techniques, mockups and scores means they are able to create high quality music which looks as good on paper as it sounds through your speakers. 

An expert engraver using Sibelius, Martin has worked in the music department on a number of Hollywood movies including the Disney blockbuster 'Cinderella', 'A United Kingdom' and 'The Emoji Movie'. His scores are regularly recorded in state of the art studios and performed in concert by world-class orchestras.

In 2019 Martin provided additional orchestrations for Disney's live action adaption of 'Aladdin'.
